Great location overlooking Trim Castle, ideal for exploring Trim and the surrounding area, including Brú na Bóinne. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant. We also really appreciated the lovely surprise of delicious biscuits left in our room for our birthday. Highly recommended.

Trim Castle Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, offering a prime location with beautiful views directly overlooking historic Trim Castle. A special mention goes to Deputy GM Richard, who went above and beyond as a total star by opening up the terrace at night so I could take in the view over the castle. With very reasonable rates, hassle-free free parking, and a delicious breakfast included, the entire experience was top-notch and earns a well-deserved 5-star rating.

VIEW OF THE CASTLE ACROSS THE STREET IS MAGNIFICENT! Can also have a drink in the Castle View bar to enjoy the scenery. We had a great breakfast which included a hot made-to-order menu as well as help-yourself continental breakfast options. BUT, check-in was poor because hotel claimed they did not have our Expedia reservation, even though Expedia said that the hotel confirmed my reservation the day I made it - which was months ago. While the hotel was sold out, we got lucky because they had one cancellation. Trim Castle Hotel claimed it was just a “glitch in the system.” Also, no temperature control/AC in room and no handheld nozzle in the shower. No fridge either, but that’s common in Irish hotels, Good king bed and ample towels.

Fantastic hotel was wonderful amenities. Tried out their rooftop terrace hot tub and it was well worth it. With new amenities popping up, not all of the young staff are fully up to date on what’s going on all over the hotel, but they are all very courteous. There were weddings two of the three nights we were there. It can definitely get a bit loud but it’s nice to see the hotel doing so much business. I would definitely stay here again! We particularly appreciated how many historical sites were within driving distance!
