"I booked this stay on Father's Day weekend. My husband enjoyed himself from the time we unloaded the car. He was sitting by the lake with pole in the water within less than an hour of our arrival. The check in was nice and smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There's also a little convenient store on property. "The hotel appeared to be clean and the staff were helpful and nice. However the shower in the room leaked and there was a horrible smell in the elevator. It smelled like natural gas. The rooms are not insulated well and the cracks in the door let noise in from the hall, ie people talking and doors closing. Could not fully close the curtain to create a black out space for sleeping. The restrooms off the lobby, the commodes were not attached well to the floor as the wobbled."
