"The place was clean, with a friendly staff and the breakfast was the best we had on the peninsula. The complaint we have about the place is in the description of the location. This place is 40 min from Monemvasia and the name suggests different. There’s a nice pool, access to the beach and spa treatments are available. If you can transport this place at a different location, it’d be awesome."

"We really loved staying at Likinia and highly recommend it. Our room was spotless, and the staff was very helpful. It was pretty cool to stay in a castle-like setting. There was one minor maintenance issue (toilet had a minor constant trickle, but it worked fine). Power cycled several times during the night; might have been the city instead of the hotel. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. "5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....
