I'm not a veteran traveller with expensive tastes. Econo Lodge Tucumcari provided me an affordable, safe, clean, and comfortable room for the night, with friendly, no-hassle check-in after a hard day's drive. If that, by itself, would fall short of anyone's standards -- I don't think we stay in the same sorts of motels. I'm very pleased, and, so long as other Econo Lodges that I stay at, in the possible future, provide a close repeat of this most recent experience, my first choice to stay in, reservations or not, will be Econo Lodge.

The pros'- the room was clean and the air conditioner worked good, plus the breakfast was wonderful, my sister had the pancakes and a bagel! The cons'- since we had a late check in, the room I had reserved was given away (smoking), and gave us a non-smoking room. The TV wasn't working, but I think that was due to heavy winds. I mean for the price it not a bad hotel. I just wish we got the room we paid for...
