"The property was beautiful. I love the apartment set up. People around are very friendly. I did not like that my door lock broke two days before my check out. In order to lock the door, we had to open the door and reclose it to get the lock to work. The bathroom drain was backed up and water filled the bedroom and hallway. While advertised as convenient, being directly opposite Keir Srynge Market meant struggling to locate the property every time I went out and tried to return.The area felt unsafe after dark, with limited lighting and no clear pedestrian pathways. Great place let down by racial profiling incident

"This was my second time staying at the Kololi Beach Resort, and the hotel itself is great—great location, nice rooms, and excellent front-of-house staff. However, my stay was ruined by an overzealous security guard who was probably only doing what he had been taught to do - keep Black women out, who they assume all must be "ladies of the night." was stopped by a security guard who did not approach me with any kind of courtesy and demanded to know what I was doing at the hotel and whether I was staying there. "
