Great location-short walk to the many local pubs which were fabulous for drinks and food. Short walk across the bridge to the church and castle as well as the oldest pub - Sean's Bar. "Room lacked a desk/dressing table, there was a large gap where it should have been. A manager did bring a battered looking square table that would have made it a narrow space at the foot of the bed, I had already moved a smaller table into the space, so that I could set up my laptop and also use the hairdryer. The room was otherwise ok, no USB ports luckily there is a garage across the road that sold adapters. A shower over a low bath with a shower curtain that clung to my legs, noisy plumbing. Breakfast was the usual with a good choice, self-service coffee from only one machine. I was staying there for a conference unlikely that I’d choose to stay there in future. Having said that I had stayed there in the past with no issues. There’s a very good Indian restaurant within walking distance "
