"We are so glad we chose VCS instead of a hotel in downtown Bridgeport. VCS truly cares about your comfortable stay and feel welcomed. Now we know why this place gets high rating.
We spent 2 nights in one of the tent cabin. The room was simple but clean. The communal facilities were well maintained. The bath/toilet facilities was spanking clean and plenty of toilet paper/paper towels stocked up within. There is a camp kitchen equipped with a coffee maker (Keurig) , microwave, and small fridge. Even dish soap and a sponge were provided. We didn't use it but there were several BBQ grills scattered on site. They provide you a care bag at check-in which was a very nice touch. It contains a map of downtown Bridgeport/adjacent area, K-cups/paper cups for your breakfast, s'more to treat yourself at your private gas fireplace, and fish food to feed at their hatchery.
According to their website, the housekeeping was not offered at the tent cabins. However, the housekeeper checked-in with us whether we needed anything and fulfilled our request for additional towels promptly.
We felt the noise from Hwy 395 was minimal and intermittent, the sound from the creek also offset that.
We would stay here again without hesitation next time we are traveling along Hwy 395."
"Perfect vibe, wonderful host, amazing scenery, and great lawn furniture to enjoy the views. Know that it’s a historic older property and appreciate the quirks!"
