Campbelltown Mote Campbelltown Mote is a small double-trenched fort on top of the hillock, best preserved at the north end. The track/footpath below runs from west Twynholm to Campbelton (modern spelling?).

Had a great stay. We were met by Karen when we first arrived, she (like all the staff) was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We had a lovely meal and the breakfast was also delicious. Room was perfectly clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.
