"We stayed for two nights at Drift House in Port Fairy and had a somewhat mixed experience. The accommodation itself is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It really feels like a special place to stay. "I wanted to leave a positive review as I felt the manager genuinely tries their best. There's a total lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. You would want to be in a very confident and comfortable partnership to share this room. There's literally NO privacy at all. The bed is only a double which is a let down, especially with the $400 a night price tag. Breakfast is off site but quire good. "

"Everything was clean & accomodating staff. I particularly liked the bushy surrounds and access to the beach. For food you'll need to go to Portland and take a container to fill with drinking water for a drink and if you want a cuppa when you arrive. I used the tourist information brochure to plan my sightseeing for the next day. I would go again on my way to or from Adelaide. "

Only could fault a couple things really. 1 day the pool was overloaded with chlorine to the point it stripped my sons osmosis swim shirt from blue to grey and my shirt from brown to orange. And i. The roof of the cabin newds a good c9bweb clean. Oh and luckily we had a lighter as the gas stove lighter had ran out of gas. Other than that was a nice place to stay. Staff are friendly. "
