Everyone my wife and I came in contact with wore a smile and greeted you in some fashion. "This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure."

Our room could be kept at our preferred temperature with an individual, quiet cooling unit that didn't block the garden view.
