"This was an amazing place with an incredible nostalgia. We got there at midnight the first night because of a late flight. One of the members of the family who owned this place, showed up at the gate and let us in. When you get there, you get a key to open the gate into the garden area. The rooms are old, but designed with a lot of charm. We had the bathroom with the pinewood tub. The entire experience was five stars. "The pool slide is fun for the children, the restaurants provided good food and service. The rooms were clean enough but the buildings are very old and musty. It looks cute and fresh on the website, but it's like putting lipstick on a pig, they really need to upgrade not just the façade and furnishings but the infrastructures, better ventilation, better air conditioning, redo the windows and doors. Find a way to rid the rooms of old building musty smells"

"The Handlery is evidently an older property due for a facelift and renovation. The pool was nice, though I was looking forward to an actual swim up bar. The rooms are adequate, but could use a bit more deeper cleaning. There was a commotion in our building where we had to deal with noise disturbance by an irate guest.
