"This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel."

"It's a very nice hotel. The rooms are a bit small but perfect for what they are. The bathroom was very clean. The staff are extremely helpful with any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. It's really close to downtown and within walking distance to almost anything you need."
