Beautiful Japanese inspired architecture. The entire resort has a beautiful jasmin scent. Dali style stair cases added to the uniqueness of the architecture.
Villa is spacious with lots of lounge couches. Plenty of space in living vs sleeping quarters.
Food is ‘Japanese’s refined intepretation of Indonesian cuisine’. High quality ingredients, very well cooked. But if you are looking for the rich flavors of Indonesian spices, you won’t find it here.
Staff is polite and friendly.
As it is ‘Japanese inspired’, not super kids-friendly. The hotel have many overly strict rule to ‘maintain the desired ambiance, and in some case, traded off common sense/ convenience. Absolutely no outsiders are allowed, even if those ‘outsiders’ are recommended by hotel staff.
Would highly recommend to honeymooners or just people who appreciate minimalism achitecture. The hotel staff seems genuinely tried to achieve customer service within their regulations, but in my view, the rules could be relaxed based on good common sense of the staff.
