Good, clean, modern rooms. Great air-conditioning. Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Only a 10minute walk from the main street with shops and many restaurants handy. Nice quiet, safe area. A kettle in the room would be handy.

The room was comfortable but the water pressure low in the shower. Staff were friendly and responded quickly to my requests. Swimming pool is great and good private setting.

The pictures are very old• The hotel is old, dirty and smells. Moisture is soo high at rooms everything gets wet and its hard To breath The only thing is good is The staff .they are vey friendly and helpfull

Great size room and living space, but needs updating. A/C was working well. TV had only Indonesian channels. A kettle and a toaster would be a nice addition in the kitchen. The area with swimming pool is very small and can get noisy, depending on how other guests behave. One guest was playing music loud in his room while I was staying there, with windows open and it was pounding in my room, meaning that the room was not sound proofed. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The hotel was in great condition, central enough to walk into the heart of Ubud and until the last morning we would’ve given the trip 10/10. The staff woke us by banging on our door for breakfast while we were asleep and when we were checking out we discovered that a member of staff had been going through our bags. Thankfully all the valuables were locked away out of reach

The staffs at Hartaning house are super duper friendly (sometimes even too friendly) that we have to say no it’s ok. The room was decent for the price you pay. May improve on shower pressure. Internet good Only downside and really need upgrade are the mattress. The mattress was so bad that our back was hurting after 2 nights. Lose one star on it. Breakfast was good for the price we paid, cheaper than if you buy outside.

Nice Inexpensive Hotel with Power Issues

Nice economical hotel in Ubud. Problems with the power breaker going off and on all night... Consequently no A/C for us.... The girls next door kept running theirs and popping the breaker Eventually you just turn off the lights and go to sleep... tomorrow is another day

We had a great stay. The staff is very nice and attentive. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was tasty. The only thing I didn't like was that the guesthouse was built around a courtyard and you can hear every conversation in the courtyard from your room. Everyone was quiet at night but sometimes during the day I wished a few guests would take their conversations to their rooms. We were still pleased with the facilities though.

Amazing place and the staff is top notch! I've honestly never had such good service in my life. Seriously, those guys are awesome and will take care of you. And take the free shuttle to the uname restaraunt, you will thank me later!

Hartaning House is a stones throw from Radiantly Alive Yoga Studio, Bali Buda Health food store and restauarant and the Main Street of ubud without the hustle and noise.. It's convenient, very clean and intimate. The staff made an error with my booking and swiftly rectified it and upgraded me so bravo for great customer service.

La peor experiencia que hemos tenido

Era un hotel de una noche , llegamos, dejamos el equipaje y nos fuimos a cenar, al regresar vimos al chico de recepción saliendo de nuestra habitación , sin ningún motivo , le preguntamos si había pasado algo y nos dijo que no y evadía nuestras preguntas. Nos dio un poco de miedo la situación así que entramos a habitacion y cerramos la puerta , el muchacho quedó sentado enfrente por al menos 30 minutos. Revisamos nuestras cosas y es posible que nos faltara dinero , no hicimos la denuncia policial porque no estábamos al 100% seguros ya que no controlamos el efectivo constantemente . Am día siguiente nos fuimos y al otro le mandamo un mail al manager del que no hemos tenido respuesta . La verdad la peor experiencia que hemos tenido

A lovely change of pace.

A lovely change of pace. Small and peaceful. Had some power conversion issues but that seemed to happen throughout Bali even in the larger resorts. Room was small but bed was large and comfortable and tastefully presented. Shared kitchen with cooking facilities. Good value for money. Surrounding area is a very active Hindu area with many temples, waterfalls, Monkey Forest and Mount Batur. People are warm and friendly. Loved it here!
