Although a slight walk from the restaurants, the property is very comfortable with very friendly staff. The food options are limited, but restaurants are plenty within 5 minutes walk. Loved the stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Highly recommend this hotel to be a short walk from the North side if Ubud town, a pretty / clean pool, great view out the balcony or terrace, kind helpful staff, and Air conditioner and wifi that work well. My room had a mini-fridge and a desk to work as well. Perfect for longer stays.

It’s a great place. I loved the attention from all the staff specially from the manager. He was super nice, attentive and very professional. The down side of it, it is that they don’t give you wash towels neither hand towels. The breakfast is nice but very limited. Only 5 choices, same choices every single day. There are NOT vegetarian options. Only fruit smoothie, just one kind and maybe waffles. On the other hand, the alley that leads to the hotel is very dark at night. There are lots of pot holes and uneven ground that could easily lead to an accident.

I loved my stay at Swahita. I was here for a week and I would have extended my stay here gladly! The staff is amazing, so friendly and attentive. They remember your name and your schedule and habits and always make a point to personalize the interaction. The room was great, the bathroom was nice and the balcony views were private. The AC kept the room cool, and the pool was always to perfect temperature. The rooms are not the most sound proof, but it was never an issue at night. Walkable to the center of Ubud and close to many great restaurants, spas, and convenient stores. I felt safe walking home even after dark. Will definitely be back here ! Thank you

My experience in this hotel couldn’t be better. The staff was very welcoming and kindly, they really know how take care of us. Swimming pool is perfectly warm, you can have breakfast in the room with a beautiful view of the nature.

Du planst Ubud? Dann wird das Swahita dich nicht enttäuschen. Wir sind nun bereits zum dritten Mal hier gewesen und jedes Mal fühlt es sich an, wie „nachhause“ zu kommen. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und erfüllt dir jeden Wunsch. Die Anlage ist klein, aber top gepflegt. Der Gärtner läuft gefühlt 12 Stunden am Tag rum und kümmert sich liebevoll um alle Pflanzen. Wir haben uns bewusst gegen ein Hotel an der Hauptstraße entschieden. Das Swahita liegt ruhig, jedes Zimmer zeigt mit der Balkonseite direkt in den Urwald. Nachts hörst du sehr viele Tiere. Lass dich davon aber nicht verunsichern. Man fühlt sich sehr sehr sicher hier.

Un très bon séjour...
Un très bon souvenir de cet hôtel à Ubud. Ubud est une ville très touristique à Bali, extrêmement agitée et bruyante. Ici nous étions dans un petit havre de calme, de tranquillité et traiter comme des coqs en pâte. Les chambres sont grandes, bien équipées avec une belle terrasse donnant sur la forêt et son calme. Il y a une piscine extérieure suffisamment grande pour nager ou se relaxer. Entre trois et six heures,on peut y prendre un petit goûter offert par la maison ! Le petit-déjeuner est très bien, servi sur commande. Si on reste plusieurs jours cela peut-être un peu répétitif néanmoins. Le personnel est vraiment fantastique, on retient votre prénom dès votre arrivée et tout est fait pour que le séjour soit parfait. Bien sûr l'hôtel n'est pas trop proche du centre mais avec un scooter ou en taxi rien n'est vraiment loin. Attention cependant à la circulation et aux embouteillages, récurrents à Ubud et à Bali en général !

Personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam nog meer dan andere hotels . Onze eerste kamer op 2 verdiep achteraan was oorverdovend lawaai van een blaffende hond aan 1 stuk . Hebben onmiddelijk andere kamer gekregen . Ontbijt super . Op de foto staat wel dat er matrasjes op de ligstoelen aan het zwembad liggen maar was niet het geval . Ook zeker NIET geschikt voor slecht stappende mensen heel veel trappen .

Excellent séjour...
Vraiment un hôtel très agréable à Ubud qui, pour moi, en un enfer touristique !! Pas très loin du centre mais suffisamment éloigné pour être très au calme cet hôtel pour un prix raisonnable est quasiment parfait. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées avec grand balcon et vue sur la forêt. Une piscine suffisamment grande au centre de l'hôtel avec transats pour la détente. Le petit-déjeuner, qu'il faut commander la veille, est très bien même s'il manque un peu de variété après quelques jours. Il peut être servi en chambre. Et surtout le personnel est vraiment fantastique. À peine arrivé et presque tout le monde vous appelle par votre prénom et surtout, ils sont tous au petits soins pour vous. Pot de bienvenue, et goûter offert dans l'après-midi si vous êtes dans le coin. Pas de restaurant mais on peut manger pas trop loin ou louer un scooter pour aller se balader. Attention à la circulation qui est digne de la Place de la Concorde à 18h00 !! Ubud est, du moins lors de notre passage, hyper fréquenté et le consumérisme y règne en Maître !! Avis aux amateurs...

Virkelig hjælpsomme og venligt personale. Dejlig gå-afstand til byen. En smule ærgerligt at de var ved at bygge om på trapperne, da vi var der da det larmede en del i løbet af dagtimerne (fx ved poolen). Skøn morgenmad, som man selv kunne vælge mellem hver dag. Vi var meget positive over oplevelsen ift. prisen.

Great place to stay.
This is a family run hotel and the staff could not have been more friendly. They were always on hand to offer help and could not have done more to make our stay perfect. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Ubud but there are several places to ear within 10 minutes walk. The breakfasts were excellent, with 4 choices made fresh when you arrived at the table or they would deliver it to your room. We had a deluxe balcony room with a very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a great time staying here! The staff learned our names and asked us how we were doing and were always very helpful. There are several breakfast options and they were all good. We had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing! It is generally very quiet there-but it is a little further from the buzz of the city. It was easy to rent a motorbike and book the shuttle to and from the airport. The pool was very nice. We will stay here again if ever in Ubud in the future.

This was a hidden gem close to the action and main area of Ubud but secluded and quiet. The pool was amazing. The breakfast simple yet fresh and yummo. The staff were beautiful especially Agus he was very helpful, attentive and up for a conversation and a laugh. We loved the Swahita and will stay again in the future.

Lovely place with the most friendly staff. They do everything to make your stay perfect. Location is still close to the city center but very quiet. We loved the view towards the rainforest, the pool and the breakfast pancakes. Highly recommend.

Bird watchers delight, We had a Javan Kingfisher nearly everyday outside our room, along with the Coucals who were hanging in the trees every day. The breakfast only had 1 option for us as we're vegetarian, so that was a bit annoying, But Ubud has some fantastic restaurants in the area, Namaskara down the road for food is awesome! Staff were super friendly, Rooms were a good size, Toilets worked, Balcony was decent, Pool was nice, Bed was good, Pillows good, We had some ants in the room, but the staff sprayed it and we never saw them again. I have one more complaint, albeit minor, I was trying to sleep at 9pm and the staff knocked on our door asking what we wanted for breakfast. This woke me up, and as we had already told them the "Free breakfast" didn't suit our dietary requirements, They kept trying to push us about the breakfast and wouldn't really take no for an answer. We ended up ordering a juice to get them to go away ;)

A lovely property with a view onto trees. About a 10 minute walk from the main street. Very quiet. Beautiful rooms - both rooms had sliding doors to a balcony and the stopper at one end of the doors in both rooms was missing which meant that even when the door was locked, the double doors could be slid to the side for access to the room. It was not a problem during our stay as no one entered our rooms, but something that Swahita might look at improving.

The location is allright but it’s quite a distance to walk to ubud market so we took gobike which is about 7 mins. The room seems musky and wet and moist especially the bed and blanket. Personally, my friend and i don’t sleep well for 2 nights. The service team is friendly and good.
