"Be very careful when booking this property. This is NOT at Hotel, more of an apartment. It's in a great part of town, however, entrance to the building is not secure, the stairs are quite dark at night, etc. so be careful. What's more, the facility has SHARED bathrooms, something not clear in the booking. I'm a grown man. I don't share bathrooms with strangers. "Clean room with lovely and helpful staff near city centre"

"The location was incredible for us and our children for our short stay. Access was easy and straight forward. Everything we needed was nearby, beaches, food, laundrette etc We had missed in the description of the property that our bathroom was separate to the room. The bathroom was a good size and very clean, but as we have children, they needed to be accompanied to the toilet. This is a personal preference of course, but something that made the property slightly less helpful for us."

"I'll start with the good. Pension Iturrizza is in a superb location in San Sebastian's Old Town. It's on a quiet side street near a church, very close to excellent dining (which is everywhere) and steps from the dock, beach and aquarium. It's hard to imagine finding something so convenient for what is a very good price. If all you want is a place to drop your bags and have a place to sleep, go for it. You probably won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't give more than three stars for two...

"No air conditioning, just a small fan on the ceiling which doesn't work unless the light is on. No double bed. Mattress quite uncomfortable. Toilet and room spotlessly clean, and the owner was very kind. The location is perfect to visit the main spots close by the beach"
