Not so Good Stay

We went down and told assistant about these issues, they didn't do anything , There wasn't another place to stay in this area. Couldn't take a good shower, the shower head was clogged sprayed water everywhere. Water in toilet ran all day and night. Room had very bad odor we went down to Dollar Store and bought Lysol and air fresheners for room. There was a hole under the carpet you tripped in. Found dirty panties in corner. Won't go back.

I did not stay there on those dates. I did ck in on the 10th, but came back to give my key back. This motel was not clean, nor safe. I was not given any of my money back. I recommend that you ck this motel before going forward. I have considered contacted the county to have this motel inspected for safety.

I turned the shower on and the shower head almost killed me. It was heavy and flew off. There were German cockroaches. The room I was moved to had a soft floor and black mold. Only some of the facility has working Wi-Fi, the washer and dryer are in a scary dirty back room. Staff tried to be accommodating and are very nice but this place should be condemned.

Mildew, mold, dirty carpet, toilet wouldn’t flush, worst motel I have ever stayed in. State fair going on so all surrounding hotels booked or I would have moved and not stayed here!

Stay away from this hotel

WARNING! I made AND PAID for a reservation at this facility on hotels dot com, called the hotel within an hour to confirm reservation (most hotels were booked with power company contractors). The hotel desk employee called me back! to let me know they DID NOT have my reservation, and had NO rooms available. I had to book and ay for another hotel (almost 50 miles further away). Scottish Inn refused to give a refund when hotels dot com submitted the request to them. Claimed I was a 'no show' (Of course I was!) . All of this lying and immoral, borderline illegal activity just to keep a nights booking.

The pfroperty was not great only one wall sconce had a bulb for light, the 4inch mattress was ddirectly on top of metalframe for a playform bed. abut very clean. We paid aan extra $25,00 fdor each dog and unfortunately one got sick We cleaned all areas of the room affected and gave them another $50.00 for the housekeepping staff as we had to use the hand towels tocleanspots on the fug. Staff VERY helpful amd friendly. Tv wasset at one volume only. aathis choice was for our evacuation needs during Hurricane

Worst hotel ever

Horrible. Spiders, bed bugs, sink falling off wall. Mold in microwave. Old dirty mattresses. HORRIBLE mold and mildew smell. Dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Could not stay. Hotels.com should not offer and have denied my refund even though i sent them pictures of the bed bugs.

This place was a last resort while evacuating Florida after trying to clean up from Helene and Milton bearing down. There were no rooms anywhere in Northern Florida or southern GA on 10/7/2024 as we evacuated. We would have been better off sleeping in our car than the Scottish Inn. We arrived at 2am, exhausted. It was awful when we walked in, didn't look around much as I just didn't want to see. Refused to bring in any luggage and slept in our clothes. It was worse when the sun came up. The smell punched you in the face when you stepped into the room, mold literally growing up the back of the bathroom door, the floor under the carpet was soft and rotting, furniture was broken, everything smelled of stale smoke and mildew. This place should be CONDEMNED and can't believe this room was even offered, ROOM 208. Management had the sick audacity to charge us 113.00 for the night in a complete desperate situation when that room should have been condemned and the "normal" price is nearly half that at 71.00. I am disappointed in the City administration and building code enforcement of Unadilla for allowing this place to rent this room/building. The whole back side of this hotel should be torn down! The picture is only the front. The rooms pictured do NOT represent the broken furniture and overall unhealthy facts of this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - SLEEP IN YOUR CAR IF YOU HAVE TO!

Room was filled with Mold. No Hot water. Shower head didn't work. Train went by every 15 minutes right behind the room. People sat in their loud cars outside our window playing loud music at 4:00 am. Revving the car up. Worst night of my life. Dissapointed that Expedia doesn't vet their properties before recommending them.
