Service & Communication: Despite six email exchanges confirming a pre-arranged birthday setup, nothing was in place upon arrival. There was no accountability or attempt to remedy the situation. The hotel later left melted chocolate-covered strawberries in the room on a day spent entirely off-property — an unrequested substitution that was nonetheless charged to the bill.
Room Quality: The carpet showed visible staining, and the advertised balcony upgrade amounted to a third-floor view of rooftop HVAC units on adjacent buildings.
Safety & Environment: Common areas — including the lobby, entrance, and rooftop pool — were repeatedly occupied by non-guests whose loud and discourteous behavior made the environment feel unwelcoming and unsafe.
As a frequent business traveler, this property fell well short of what a 4-star rating should represent. Significant improvements to communication, room maintenance, and guest management are needed before I could recommend it."
