"The grounds were open and welcoming and the lodging was comfortable, clean and had an intriguing Japanese/modern decor. The bathroom was thoughtfully stocked & there was an assortment of teas available. The hosts were amazing and breakfast was delicious, including home made jams & gluten free muffins & individual frittatas served in our room. A short walk up to the arboretum from this scenic and nature focused neighborhood made it an awesome stay!"

"Great small hotel. Super clean and friendly and safe. Good bed. Decent and adequate breakfast. For a 2 star accom'n it is excellent, esp at its price. Minor detail: no USB ports but lots of outlets so bring the wall plugs. 2 stories w/o elev so ask for ground floor if mobility issues. Otherwise, a great find!"

"The hotel is in a great location! Plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants right there. We arrived late and the front desk staff was very nice and accommodating to what we needed. The hotel is older but nice. Our room was great for what we needed. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the bathtub was slow draining which is kinda yucky."

"This is a unique property. The room was very spacious with a wonderful view of the bay. It seemed that there had been a remodeling. Where there had once been a refrigerator and microwave were now empty spaces and a locked courtesy refrigerator was installed instead. Despite the faact that the property was on the edge of the bay there were train tracks tucked bewtween the hotel and the bay pier. According to my wife the train passed every hour during the night. My perception was much less...

"Friendly staff, convenient location and good value. Breakfast options ranged from fruit, cereal, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. A couple of nearby coffee stands (Lodge) for those in need of coffee fix. Room was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a simple stay with a single traveler."

"Our room smelt of wet dog, had paint peeling off in the shower. Shower head was leaking and has been caulked several times but it was failing. We got one blanket and 2 small pillows. motel 6 vibes with a wet dog smell."

"Property is a budget friendly motel, convenient to the freeway and the town of Bellingham. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly on check in. Price was the draw for a 1 night stay, but I came to find the ownship of the motel changed very recently and the motel was purchased by a family as a franchise.
