"We like motels because you can park out front of your room which this is and It was clean. I can only speak about our room for 2 people for 1 night. Our room needs a refurbishment badly, things were rusty and needs a paint. There was only 1 unplugged bedside lamp on 1 of the bedside tables BUT there was no power point behind any of the bedside tables OR bed to plug into and no extension lead to plug in anywhere else (solution, get rid of the 1 bedside lamp and have none there if you cannot...

"The room was really clean and modern. Great Smart TV with all the Apps like Netflix, YouTube etc Had a good little fridge and a microwave (I was surprised how many didn’t) . Really big shower with great pressure, so I felt washed ! Close to the Taree Service Centre as in 5 min drive. Beautiful rural setting, so quiet. This place was a real gem really close to the M1. I found myself another great motel between Sydney and Brisbane, well worth the stop."

"The caravan park is in a gorgeous position with unbeatable scenic views over the water and mountains and is tranquil and well run. The very old cottage we hired is adequate but showing its age quite badly. and could do with a refresh. Although it comes with kitchen provisions eg plates saucepans etc they are fairly sparse particularly since the cottage sleeps up to 7. Fridge is large however and quite new. The fully enclosed little area at back is a bonus if you have a dog. Tv works well,...

"Room was good, unfortunately we found the beds a little on the small side."

"Location was lovely, nice walks along the river. ( Spotted a Grey Nurse shark). Enjoyed a meal at the bowls club nearby with discount from the motel. Drove to Port Macquarie and had a lovely time there. Went to the Koala rescue centre too. Room on the small side, had to live out of suitcase due to tiny wardrobe etc. Although there was a microwave, fridge & kettle it was all a tight fit. Try for a larger room. Pleasant staff."

"One of the best in Taree. I've stayed at a few properties in Taree for work in 2026 so far. Hands down the most luxurious and cleanest. The couple running it are lovely and go above and beyond. Everything was spotless. Clean linen, clean frigde, clean utensils, clean floor and more. It was immaculate. I especially loved the back outside area along the garden as an extra space to relax. "The bed was very u comfortable, the mattress springs were poking into the body on side of the bed. We had one night stay as a journey stopover for sleep, I could sleep at all. Also there were only 2 plate and 2 cups and we were 3 of us. "
