"My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt House and were very pleased with our stay. The accommodations were lovely, bedding was comfortable (pillows were outstanding), room was very clean and staff was friendly. Could use more counterspace in the bathroom and the floor in bath is very slick when wet - so could use a larger floor towel for the shower/bath. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Pool was nice and clean as were all common areas of the hotel. The location was very convenient on the wharf to numerous dining and entertainment options."

"We have stayed here many times due to its location on the GW campus. The rooms are large and clean and everyone is so helpful. Parking is difficult- not the hotels fault- it’s DC. Location is great and beds are comfy- AC cold - free waters in the room, large changing room outside bathroom and kitchens in the deluxe room. Highly recommend."

"It was a beautiful place. A few little glitches. Our fridge didn’t work and we didn’t know until all our food was ruined. They brought a new one but juts dropped it off on the floor. The safe didn’t work and the bathroom vent didn’t work so you had to wait to get ready when the mirror de fogged. The tone had what looked like decal material stains or blood all over the back of it."

"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly during my short stay. Welcome gift and drink are grea benefits. This location has 2 restaurants, 1 is with a rooftop bar! The views are amazing. This is the place to stay in DC!!"

"Old but honest hotel. Clean and well kept considering it's 50 years old and mostly original. Surprisingly good restaurant for breakfast and lunch. We didn't stay for dinner but I'm assuming it's good as well. Relatively inexpensive overnight parking and overall good value. Good location and nice pool. Our 5th time here and not the last one."
