What a quaint hotel in the perfect walking location to all the sites to see. The room was charming and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and reasonable. I highly recommend staying in this hotel when in the area.

This is a small quiet retreat from the hub bub of DC. I love the old English architecture and decor of this historic hotel. The food at the bar and restaurant is delicious. And the staff is friendly and helpful. I have stayed here many times and it remains one of my favorites in DC.

I loved our stay! The beds were comfy and it felt very historical! I didn’t love how small the rooms were and how few outlets there were in the room. Additionally, the bathroom was on an odd incline but the staff was lovely!

The staff were attentive and efficient. The hotel is historic and adorned nicely. We were disappointed the tavern closed early on a Friday night. The rate was reasonable, however the parking makes up difference for another that might offer free/included parking. Breakfast was divine. Again the staff are responsible and pleasant.

Stayed 3/5/26 for a concert. This was such a charmingly beautiful hotel, I really enjoyed how quaint it’s was. Beautiful design and architecture also comfortable beds, good service. The only thing I would say is there was a lot of outside noise in the morning since the room was facing the street. I would definitely stay again!
