"Great choice for a short stay and if you're on a budget. My room was on the 2nd floor and facing H Street, so the only drawback was that the street noise was a bit loud. However, overall I really liked my room (it was so cute) and the location was great. Very walkable to eateries, museums, etc. I'd definitely stay there again!"

"The front desk was short staffed, and I had to leave before returning my room key and getting a receipt because no one was there and this was a 11:00am. The door man and other staff were very nice and helpful when no one was manning the front desk."

"This historic property has a beautiful back terrace looking over a wooded area that is quite peaceful. The hotel is very accessible to other areas of DC as there is a metro stop just 2 blocks away and it is near an area with shops and restaurants."

The staff were not very helpful and seemed to have an attitude when asking if it were possible to accommodate my needs. Late check out costs extra, a conference room costs extra, coffee costs extra-no coffee maker, microwave, nor cold refrigerator were in the room. Breakfast even costs extra. "I really enjoyed the stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were all friendly and professional. The breakfast was fresh and had lots of variety and always well stocked. The location is nearby Metro Stations, so very convenient to go places. I will definitely come back!"

"All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. Bar and menu was decent. Location was excellent - 1 block to the redline! Had a great visit to DC. However, the pool and hot tub were subpar (lukewarm and jets not working)."

"It took a very long time for the shower to get hot. There are no hooks near the shower door to hang a robe or a towel. the vanity is a bit small to lay your towel on. You have to reach in to the back wall to turn the shower on and get wet while you try to turn the handle to the proper temp. No shower body wash only soap bars. The bed was very comfortable and the staff is great."
