The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. "We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret. We dined at Martha’s and after a really busy day, loved the easy going nature of this restaurant. We also had the 7 course degustation menu at Hardys Veranda another night. We didn’t enjoy this as much as Martha’s purely as some of the flavours didn’t match in our opinion. It was a very vast menu, a lot of food and sitting down to a 3 hour dinner was a bit after another very busy day. Overall though, we would absolutely come back here. The surrounding gardens were magnificent as was Mt Lofty House in general."
