Staff and The Lodge were excellent. Due to being off season, breakfast wasn't offered and many of the eateries in the Village were closed.

The staff at the front desk was a step in so she was unfamiliar with the hotel and did not offer us much help with anything our first night. Perfect location in Vail village, great value, helpful staff, with a well equipped Gym and spa. They put out coffee, danish, yogurt etc every morning which is nice. Note they do allow dogs and there were many!
