"I stayed 21 nights at the hotel. This is an older facility but the family that owns and manages it have made it comfortable and welcoming. I needed a more comfortable mattress and the owner/manager purchased and placed a new mattress at my request - that is genuine service and hospitality. The hotel provides a daily breakfast, gratis. The pool and grounds are well maintained. It is located on a beautiful beach with several inexpensive tavernas and restaurants in short walking distance. You can also purchase grocery from nearby markets and keep them in your room fridge. Four people run this hotel - they do a superb job. I would return here if I revisited Crete. "

"This is a good place to stay for an easy stroll into the centre. It's a short journey from the airport which is near the centre. It's not a busy airport so not noisy. The accommodation is excellent, comfortable, and well equipped if you wish to self cater (we preferred to visit local restaurants). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful."

"While we were there our son went into medical distress. The staff at the store and the reception desk were absolutely amazing. So kind, caring, and thoughtful. My son and I didn’t get to finish our stay there but they sent food packages with the rest of our family for our hospital stay. At the end of the day, a hotel is just a hotel….it’s the staff and people that make the experience. 10/10 experience. "
