"Clean room, great staff, nice restaurants, very comfy bed. Perfect other than two minor things - hot water is from a source with sulfur so has a smell to it, and the curtains were not blackout. When visiting in summer and it's light all evening this does mean that the room is a bit light for sleeping. Bring a sleeping mask!"

"The hotel was the perfect stay for us during our trip along the Ring Road. Accommodations were super clean, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb, and the staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here again if we ventured to the area on a future vacation!"

"The family cottage we stayed in was nice; it was clean and had a nice couch and sitting area. The small kitchen was also very useful for making an early breakfast, since we left before the complimentary breakfast was served. The only detractor is that this place is very far from Egilstadir. The drive is on miles and miles of bumpy gravel roads to get there - at least a half an hour from Egilstaddir. I recommend any traveler ensure that they know this. On the other hand, it is a good place from which to venture out to Hafnarholmi in Bogarfjurdor Eystri to see the puffins at night, and a great place to launch out from to go to Studagil Canyon."
