Loved the neighborhood and the view from the restaurant on the outdoor patio is amazing! Convenient location if you are taking a cruise. The hotel offers a shuttle. Only downfall is the hotel is hard to find. It’s situated down a path where no cars can go. You will need to walk a bit, and go down some stairs to get to the property.

Good option for Valpo!
Simple but charming hotel. Stay here for the view, and tranquility… when the pigeons are not fighting outside 😁 I did not sleep well because of the birds and general noise (obviously completely out of hotel control) but also because the room was stuffy. If you open windows the noise becomes more prevalent, but without opening there is no airflow. Highly recommend the hotel put a floor fan in each room. Otherwise, very kind staff and cute restaurant upstairs.

Fauna Hotel
Fauna Hotel is well located within few steps from Reina Victoria elevator. Staff is kind and helpful, they recommend activities and places to eat. Room was comfortable, nice good quality bed, bathroom has a good size too. We got a room with amazing sea view. Restaurant at the hotel has a very beautiful view too and good food for lunch. Cons: Breakfast is really fair and eggs are available upon request and are not well prepared, bread was awful. Very little offer and fruits not looking fresh either. Our room with sea view was extremely noisy

Fauna hotel was an amazing experience in a beautiful location. The rooms are adorable and very clean. The breakfast is delicious and the view from the hotel is extraordinary.

FANTASTIC! The hotel is located in one of the main walking alleys in Valparaíso. The staff was great, gave us advise and were always helpful. They have a great restaurant with a terrace that rounds up the experience. The only thing to consider is that it might not be accesible to people with reduced mobility.

I loved being at the top of the hill and near fun dining and shopping options! The hotel is very unique and fun and the terrace restaurant has fantastic views! The staff was very friendly as well.

El lugar es espectacular y ya hemos ido un par de veces, pero la razón de mi baja calificación es que ya en más de una oportunidad nos toca la pieza con muy mal olor por causa del baño (u otros). No sé si es agua estancada, desagüe, etc., pero no es muy agradable.

A true ‘paraíso” in itself
Amazing building spread through a number of original Valparaiso houses. Great location in the middle of Cerro Alegre. Great staff, professional and friendly Claudia from reception couldn’t do enough to make my stay one yo remember. Will go back for sure.

Very beautiful and rustc. The restaurant was fantastic. Be advised the hotel is not accessible by car. One must walk a short distance along a pedestrian way.

Really unique hotel in an excellent area. Staff and restaurant were awesome. Only thing we didn't like was that the Wifi was not great and unfortunately that is an important thing for us when we travel.

Staff is very helpful however need to provide more information and directions to if anything else is available and or working. For example had climb two huge stories up to find out if room to room phone could be done.

Staff was helpful but getting to property with bags is very difficult for senior people. Taxi does not drop off at hotel.

Fauna is a great hotel: ecologically friendly design with great use of public areas (only issue maybe the lack of an elevator, so if you have ability issues it may not be the best). The restaurant has top-notch dishes and cocktails. It is also set on their top floor, with a terrace that has great views of the city below. If you walk by the hotel, in their main street, it is hard to imagine how spacious and cool the hotel and restaurant are inside. Most of all, I was impressed with their hospitality: all the workers were friendly, accommodating, informative, patient, especially the receptionists. They helped us find tours, taxis and solved any issues. I would repeat FAUNA in a heartbeat!

We loved the hotel and what they have done with the pre-existing older homes, the renovation and reuse of old materials is impressive. We love that they're working at being eco friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The view from our room and from breakfast was amazing. The front desk staff were so very helpful, espcailly Sebastian and Vincent (I believe). Thank you to everyone!

the HOTEL for me is the best hotel in VALPARAISO for its location and design I have asked for a nice room and they have given me the best view and the staff was super friendly the area is the most beautiful.- my only recommendations would be to improve the internet connection and maybe the breakfast too (although everything is delicious and you can repeat what you eat, I feel that it is not at the level of the hotel) the breakfast terrace / restaurant is great! yes I would return to this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone for being the best

Excelente lugar para disfrutar de Valparaiso
El hotel sorprende una vez que entras, su arquitectura es muy linda. Las habitaciones cómodas, bien calefaccionadas. La ubicación en el corazón de la vida porteña de cerros. Dos detalles que comentar, yo reservé 3 habitaciones superiores, antes de irnos me dí cuenta que una de ellas era bastante más pequeña. El otro, es que nos tocó una filmación en el comedor y fue muy desagradable el desayuno, no es lógico que los pasajeros sean invitados a congelarse a una terraza...

This is the second time I stay here as I loved it the first time. The free breakfast is great are so are the facilities and the location. The only thing that needs improvement is the staff as they could use being more courteous and welcoming. We were not greeted as we walked in and then they could not find my reservation! At no point in time were they apologetic about it, just overall not very polite both when we arrived and when we left.

Valparaiso visit
A terrific stay at the Fauna. The hotel is very modern, with a very unique layout situated up the steep hillsides in a very nice 'neighborhood' of Valparaiso. Restaurant offered and excellent breakfast on the deck.

Excelente hotel y restaurant
Espectacular la ubicación y la arquitectura del hotel, excelente trabajo de diseño y decoración, una joyita que hay que conocer. El restaurant muy bueno y con una excelente vista. Muy atentos todos; Vicente en la recepción e Isabel en el restaurant. Nota 10+

En general el hotel es rico, pero lamentablemente las piezas del primer piso dan a un tipo pasillo de la calle y en la noche nos toco demasiado ruido, personas gritando fuera del hotel. Lo otro, apreciación personal, pero el mural de la pieza era realmente feo.

top propreté, superbe petit hotel, location magnifique, vue splendide sur la mer et sur Val Po, terrasse très belle, petit déjeuner excellent, très bon restaurant, accueil chaleureux. style ancien avec toute la modernité etc. Toutefois on entend tout ce qui se passe à l'étage supérieur et il n'y a pas de téléviseur dans la chambre. Le wifi n'est pas excellent.
