"We left after two nights because this might be the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. When reported to the front desk, we were met with indifference, so two days passed with a backed up sink. The shower was the smallest I have ever encountered - 20 inches by 20 inches (.5 meter x .5 meter). The lukewarm water dribbled out - barely, meaning that it was very difficult to rinse the soap off. "Pool was closed while I was there. hallways are definitely needing a redo. Nice location from airport and a public beach."

"VERY brief stay to catch early morning flight. Staff very friendly and helpful taking us to an excellent restaurant and taking us to airport at 5 am. English was a slight problem , but we did ok. Rooms were very basic but clean. Very comfortable bed. Located very close to airport in an industrial, but not there for a holiday"

"I stayed 2 nights at Liodoro, and it was perfect! SUPER quiet, really nice room with a fridge and TV and lovely bathroom (and the bed was super comfy too). The host was great, and very helpful. A really convenient place to stay too - close to so much around the old town. A good base for sightseeing and food too. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes."

"Oversized room with a jacuzzi, however, the system leaked and water seeped into adjacent room. No 24 hour staff, so, you need to be in communication. We left before staff arrived and left the key on the hook with other keys so no security beyond the cameras. The location was ideal as was the price."

"The bedding needs to be majorly upgraded. Need new linens better pillows a stylish comfortable coverlet and better mattress or mattered pad. It was a very uncomfortable sleep for a quite high priced hotel. Also the shower is terrible with mould and rust and it leaks. Breakfast and location are lovely"

"The best all the way around"

"Very comfortable stay in a quiet area approximately 6 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo in the city centre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar is delightful. Breakfast is fairly standard continental style. The Elite room is a touch of luxury and is worth the slightly higher price tag. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel in the heart of Catania."

"Fantastic location to central Catania and visit the Roman stadium ruins. Great breakfast on the rooftop patio with views and delicious cappuccinos made by the staff. The staff at check-in also helped us park our rental car right at the property when we arrived. Spacious room and really nice to have separate twin bars for the kids. "

"Well, this was a gem of a place. Very central location so ideal for the city. Our room was clean, spacious, well decorated in neutral style with fun accents in chairs, cushions, pictures. Great shower, towels etc. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious continental style, bread rolls to die for, cheese, meat, fruit, cereal, juice, yogurts, tea and fabulous coffee made by Tino. Also cakes and biscuits if you fancy.
