"It was a very easy stay, even though we were a couple in our own room and this place is geared towards larger groups"

"Parking was easy with a big lot and the location was convenient, but unfortunately the road noise was incredibly disruptive and woke us up several times. We arrived at our room late and it was super hot - we tried to crank the AC but turning fan to “high” did not actually seem to be high and it took several hours to cool off."

"This hotel is my favorite. I stay there about 25x a year on my personal dime not business because I love it so much. Love the pool in the summer, breakfast and design of the rooms\ the whole building is historic and beautifully decorated and the staff is great!"

"The property is very old and dingy. I found the rugs to be dirty and the bathroom was moldy around the tub and shower. The TV only worked partially continuing to go in and out. I requested to change rooms and they did accommodate me to a better room. More than likely it is my last time at the hotel, even though it is very close to where I want to be."

"Owners were very friendly. We were arriving late at night but they were there to greet us and get us registered. Helped with heavy bag. Breakfast was ready when advertised. Waffle maker, jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, cereal, muffins and coffee and juice. Would go back."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Thebreakfast was good with an adequate selection. The bathroom was a little old with an old tub rather than a more modern shower. The TV was horrible. Channel selection was at the level of highly discounted motels and the picture was excessively dark with no way to adjust the brightness or contrast. All those controls were not accessible. I have a hearing problem and use closed captioning.. On the TV the CC was shown in a black box the size of about 75% of...

"This his place needs help…. Someone seriously needs to invest in replacing everything from furniture in the lobby, to repairing plumbing in the bathrooms, replacing rugs in the rooms, and stocking the vending machines and snacks,, beverages, and sundries at the front desk. The staff was fine, but the place is in tough shape!"

"NOBODY GO TO THAT PLACE—A HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE. NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE A FRIDGE. I ASKED FOR A NON-SMOKING ROOM, BUT ALL THE ROOMS SMELL LIKE CIGARETTES. THE BED WAS BAD, AND THE AIR CONDITIONING DIDN'T WORK. NO, NO, NO—I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY DON'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS IN PERSON, ONLY CASH. DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE. Don't forget to lock your car doors."

"For the price it is what it is. But the bed was wildly uncomfortable. They need to invest in real blinds for the windows because all the light bleeds in and made it even more difficult to sleep. With some minor updates it would be fine."

"I’m just disappointed that the windows don’t have locks at all other than that it’s a good room with jacuzzi. I just hope that their housekeeper would be transparent and honest since the last time I stayed in this property I left something in one of the drawers but they are claiming there is none found or left. 💁‍♂️😞"
