Great location near English Bay with lots of restaurants and activities to explore. Area is noisy but you’d likely be too tired by night to realize.

The location in English Bay was perfect for access to the beach, dining,etc.. Bus tstops right outside the door. Tha staff were friendly and accommodating and our room was serviced daily. The room itself was small and faced an alley so we kept the shades closed. The surrounding street life is boisterous so it was a quiet space, though without a view. Though small, the room had all expected amenities. We would likely return, though we might go for a room higher up with a view of the bay.

Room did NOT look like the photos. The bathroom didn’t have a fan/didn’t work so it was moist and damp the entire time. This is a ventilation and health hazard as mold can easily form. After notifying the front desk they didn’t do anything about it.

Parking sucks and you gotta pay to park too. A few staff were very helpful and kind besides one individual. We stayed 1 night. Room was ok not the best. AC was very dated.

AC was not working properly. Kept turning on and off so we had a hard time sleeping. The maintenance staff checked it and said it would work but it still didnt work. At that point, it was already late at night. The roof outside our window was very filthy. It really needs some attention. I understand it's an old building but still needs to be cleaned.

The hotel and room was old and needed updating/renovations. The room didn"t feel clean. However, the hotel is close to english bay and Stanley part. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by.

We booked this hotel for two nights before getting on a cruise! It was the best price in the area and was close to Stanley Park. We had our two kids with us, 5 & 3. It was absolutely PERFECT! I was shocked because I wasn’t expecting much. It was in the best location! We ate breakfast just a block away at the red umbrella every morning, and it was so yummy! There was a pizza place right across the street as well as a convenient store and a smoothie place! Honestly, there were so many restaurants around we had so much to choose from! We spent both days at the beach & in the park! The aquarium is amazing and worth it! The second day we rented bikes, right across the street from the hotel and road all over the park! It was my favorite! We even had lunch at the TeaHouse inside the park! It was very beautiful and staff at the restaurant was great with the kids! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Great location. Lots of dining options and so close to English bay beach. Close to lots of areas and stanley park! Rooms were mostly updated. We did have a mouse visit which wasnt fun. Staff was great and moved us to another floor and gave us breakfast the next day. Was tough to relax for the other two nights as if there is one mouse, there are more mice. Happy the other mice didn't make an appearance.

Mice infested!!! I was staying on the first floor and noticed a mouse so I told the front desk and got moved to the 4th floor no big deal. Then I noticed 3 MORE mice in the 4th floor room!!! I tried talking to the manager and he was very disrespectful trying to play off the whole situation like he didint know anything about it, refused to give me a refund or any compensation then he banned me from the hotel when I contacted Expedia support. I’ve been staying at this hotel for the past year and a half, the only hotel I chose when coming to Vancouver. Terrible way to treat a loyal customer and an easy way to loose one. Air bnb from now on. Room service is good though.

Such a great location that we're always happy to come back to. On this trip, I left behind a small bag that contained some valuable items in our room. Housekeeping and Guest Services, in particular Tony, were just fantastic about holding onto it, and arranging for tracked shipping to our home. Outstanding service!

Me and my wife have stayed here before. We love Stanley park and this hotel is right at the corner of English bay. We woke up early and walked around Stanley park. Great place to stay

We were given a room on the 3rd floor which was ok. However, we were shocked to see a mouse darting about. Front desk quickly gave us a room on the 4th floor. However, that room turned out to have a HWY-99 for mice going through it, and they would jump quite high. There is no point in reviewing the positives of this property since the negatives are unacceptable.

The location of this hotel is perfect for a stay in Vancouver. Basically right on the beach (1 minute walk) and close to many great restaurants. I look forward to returning!

Room is very clean , good price 2 minutes walk to English bay beach, beautiful Cactus club, beautiful sunset and sunrise . Staff is awesome Just don’t like some group of ppl outside , around those bars but not related to the hotel

Positive: Walk a block to English Bay beach and park area. Very run down interior common spaces, pub and room was just ok. Tiny bathroom. Back alley parking lot & very tight spaces. Low key minimal staff service. Extremely noisy front street and pub attached.

A great location. Upset a staff person entered our room at about 10:00 pm using a key card. No knock. No announcing who he was. In my view there is no reason this should happen, ever. When reported, I was told they would “talk to him.” Sadly that does not make me feel safe.
