The location was good to visit the Legoland for a day, otherwise we were not satisfied with the hotel because of several mistakes that a 4 star hotel should not do:
Check-in took forever because the receptionist girl had a very long phone call and apparently she was the only person at work. We had done pre-check in online, but that was not shown in her computer.
The room was very dirty. The floor had a carpet and that was full of old food pieces and even an old drinking glass was lying on the floor. The curtains had food/drink stains as well. The room had no real ceiling light, just several different wall lamps and standing lamps, all from different style. The room was also very old.
On the evening the sink in the bathroom started dripping, which we told to the receptionist and she just stared us blankly with no words, nor solutions. Finally she agreed to give us a bucket to collect the water. The next day the management called us and offered a new room, but we were already out at the Legoland. We arrived back at the hotel 9pm exhausted from the Legoland, and there was a queue in the reception so we were unable to change the room. When we arrived in our room, the sink was repaired. Next day at check out the receptionist did not mention anything.
At the bar and restaurant we had to deal with dirty tables. At the breakfast the table cloths were on both days full of bread crumble and food stains. We had to shake those off by ourselves to make it ok to sit down and eat.
