"The resort has some lovely qualities, particularly its very friendly and helpful staff and the complimentary on-site snorkelling is a great added benefit. However, there are several areas that need improvement to meet five-star standards. The airport transfer by seaplane, arranged through the hotel, was problematic and caused delays. Example: Arrived at international airport around 9:30am, seaplane was arranged by hotel to leave at approx 12:00pm, delayed luggage was suppose to arrive at hotel...

"Magical experience, great host.."

"Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. "Lovely new guesthouse located on a quiet friendly local island. The house reef was a short walk and we had it all to ourselves. There is lots to see when snorkeling. Management were friendly and very helpful. "

"Amazing honeymoon destination, it was very relaxing, spacious island with many things to do. The Staff and our butler was AMAZING and helpful, everyone was very kind. I recommend especially if it’s your first time in the Maldives. I suggest you choose all inclusive option because meals are expensive if you were to pay per meal. You get your money’s worth for all inclusive.."

"This was our second time in Komandoo and we loved it even more than the first time. Our jaccuzi beach villa was great - clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were well looked after by our waiter and had some fantastic dives with the dive team. And of course the snorkeling at the house reef is just amazing. You have black tip sharks, turtles and stingrays at your doorstep - literally - and all the other fish just a few meters further away."

"Heaven on earth"
