People go by the food provided or the unlimited breakfast that some hotels like Khanna provide. I give importance to hygiene and cleanliness of the room and I was pretty disappointed with the Old sheets, stained towels, dysfunctional phone and poor water drainage in the bathroom in the room that was provided to me. I may have to seek another hotel when I visit this city again.

the hotel is a good standard, the staff are very helpful, if I were going back to Vellore I would stay here again. The only negative was the wifi was ok for email but not for streaming. I stayed in a suite, which was spacious enough to work and sleep

Very nice hotel in the middle of Vellore

Staff and services were beyond expectation. Good quality food at the roof restaurant. The trainees, be it at the reception or at the restaurant, are more proactive and helpful than the permanent staff. The trainee at the reception was keen to help me with my taxi booking, while the trainee at the restaurant would always check if we needed something. We really enjoyed that. The only con was the recurrent noises from upstairs (we were on the 3rd floor).

the hotel is conveniently located from katpadi train station. the rooms were good the buffet was very nicely served however the restaurant below the hotel will definitely need a good improvisation the bearers and the staff need to maintain a better hygiene.

Friendly hotel convenient to all facilities.

My wife and I spent 2 lovely weeks here. Staff were friendly and efficient despite our lack of local language which led to slight confusion but only with some room staff and restocking items such as plain tea and toilet paper, but it was a simple matter of buying from shops across the road. If front staff were contacted, problems were resolved immediately. Free breakfasts were incredible, but paid meals were also cheap and delicious. We normally eat out when in Asian countries for the experience, but there was such a wide variety here, and hygiene appeared good, so we had all meals in-house. A few tours were arranged easily, including taxi travel to airport in Chennai about 2.5 hours away. They were most appreciative of any tipping which I must say came easily given the excellent service. I have not tried other Indian hotels so this is not a comparison, but I find it hard to believe you could get better service of value for money elsewhere. TV and free internet access, daily newspapers were standard. When I had a problem with my card at an ATM, (they frequently run out of money) staff organised contact with main bank, transport, etc to sort it out. Relieved my stress very quickly.

Pros: 1. TV connection was very good. Airtel and all HD channels were available. It was the first time I saw HD channels in a hotel with a list of all channels. 2. Breakfast buffet was good. Limited items but all items were extremely good. Pongal, Poori were really tasty. 3. In room menu prices were pretty good. 4. Centrally located. All the places are nearby. Cons: 1. Toilet seat too small. 2. A lot of people during breakfast. It could also be because of wedding venue besides breakfast. 3. Though all rooms were non-smoking, you can feel smell of smoke because of ACs being connected. I guess there was no smoke detector in the room. 4. Since I booked just a day before check-in, there was no confirmation from the hotel when I called them but there was no issue when I checked in.

I visited for a day and found the stay pleasant. Hotel is situated away from the hustle bustle and was clean. Limited options of food but good food. A confectionery shop was also in the premises.

A non-Tamil who had an extended stay there.

I am not a native of TN. I had a safe and comfortable stay in the hotel for 3 weeks. The Good:1)Staff are courteous,especially the Reception staff. 2)I was provided an affordable rate for my extended stay. 3)Their laundry service is top class. It was extremely beneficial to me. 4)The complementary breakfast buffet. 5)The location in the heart of the city. 6)The Khanna Veg.Restaurant within the compound. 7)Ample parking space. The bad: Nothing much. If any, I would say the staff at Housekeeping were to be reminded on 1 or 2 occasions to bring the laundered dress back to my room.
