"Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Great area, close to train to Venice. Would stay there again!"

"Very good location - short walk to Rialto Bridge but not packed with tourists. Excellent service from the staff. All sorts of useful advice about where to go and what to do. I had never been to Venice before so this was perfect for me. You do have to go up to the third floor carrying your luggage but a staff member came down to carry my bag up (and carried it down too). I do recommend the hotel."

"We loved the experience of staying at Casa Martini. It was a great spot, not far from the train station and close to the Grand Canal. From the moment we arrived, which was earlier than checkin, Alberto graciously welcomed us and was most helpful with information on Venice. We so appreciated his knowledge of restaurants and how to get around. The hotel is a small, quant environment with lots of character and a wonderful oasis after fighting the crowds all day. We would highly recommend staying...

"Room was very clean, but as it’s an old building, they had some ants. There’s a fridge, though, so you can store any food there. Beautiful room in a quiet and less busy part of town. A/C worked great (visited in June 2026). Staff at Ca D’Oro were helpful and even came over to help with wifi when it stopped working. There’s a beautiful restaurant nearby called Piera Alta. Would highly recommend."
