She gave us an incredibly thorough overview of Venice, including the best spots to shop and how to navigate the city. She was always smiling and happy to answer our questions. The room was clean and exceeded our expectations for the price. Highly recommend!"

"Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Great area, close to train to Venice. Would stay there again!"

"Very good location - short walk to Rialto Bridge but not packed with tourists. Excellent service from the staff. All sorts of useful advice about where to go and what to do. I had never been to Venice before so this was perfect for me. You do have to go up to the third floor carrying your luggage but a staff member came down to carry my bag up (and carried it down too). I do recommend the hotel."

"We got an upgrade to an excellent room. It was really like a palace room. Unfortunately, the fridge doesn't work, a staff were very helpful and agreed to use their big fridge. The Coop shop is really a minute from the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay, just keep in mind that you need to work for Ali Laguna stations."

"The glass shower door was halfway off the tracks and literally exploded when I started to roll it. Glass shards were everywhere. Even though it’s supposed to be tempered, the slivers were stuck in my legs and feet and some in my arms and between my fingers. There was no other room or shower available that night so I literally had to sleep with glass in my body. The front desk (located in a building down the street and around the corner) told me I could come there to shower and then walk back to...
