"The place was spotless, well equipment and very comfortable. Location was excellent and the staff was very helpful. My mum had difficulties to go all the way up the stairs to the second floor where our apartment was located and they changed us to the first floor as soon as they could."

"Nice quaint hotel in a really interesting part of Venice and away from the crowds. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was easily accessible and well connected via the 'Accedemia' water bus stop nearby. Also easy walking to San Marco and Rialto areas etc. Lots of dining options around. This hotel has an elevator which was a welcome sight. Rooms were clean comfortable and spacious. "Location is fantastic. We had a room with 2 Juliette balconies and it was great to look down on a busy gondola route right below. A few steps from St Marks Sq. Close to shops and amenities. Only negatives were that it needed small bits of maintenance like the lock on door and some TLC on the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well. "

From the moment we arrived, which was earlier than checkin, Alberto graciously welcomed us and was most helpful with information on Venice. "Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Great area, close to train to Venice. Would stay there again!"
