The staff was very polite took care of our needs. Spoke to the owner before we left. Couldn't ask for a nicer person. You really cared about or stay. And we will be staying there again soon. I totally recommend this motel

Okay property. The guy at the front was very nice but no elevator and place was a bit noisy even though it seemed like the street was quiet after a certain time. Ac made a lot of noise but was there for the nite.

The place was a little dirty with handprints on the door inside and they need to fix a couple things in the bathroom. (They looked like they were renovating other rooms.) Yet the greatest thing was the shower pressure. It was amazing. And the customer service was good. There was a lot of places nearby and maybe 5-10 minutes from beach. Great location. On site Parking was available

I always thought that this place was not bearable but having nowhere to stay after graduation it turned out to be an amazing and relaxable night slept like a baby very clean and comfortable, The hostess was very respectful and helpful as well Even offer to help me go up the stairs due to my disability

This property is one of many along Main St. Ventura. It is close to all "downtown" destinations. The building is older which I find adds to its charm. Just don't expect Hilton level of fit-and-finish. There is some weathered paint and the furnishings are also a bit older. That said, everything was workable and spotlessly clean. The real gem at Bayshore has to be the staff. The construction workers were polite and friendly, these buildings are always under some amount of "work". Luis at the front desk, a new manager or manager in training was simply awesome. Friendly, easy to talk to, super attentive and eager to make sure our stay was perfect. When I come back there is no place I'd rather stay, simple as that. For anyone concerned with safety "downtown", the parking lot was well lit and had plenty of cameras to make sure everything was chill. I and my family walked the streets every single night and never felt uneasy, just always bring a sweater or jacket, when that warm sun goes down so does the temp ;)

Amazing customer service with their entire hotel getting remodeled with brand new equipment and modern furniture. Their GM Dylan will personally go out of his way to make sure every single guest is taken care of and more than satisfied

Parked next to the room , was greeted by the friendly manager. Clean quiet room , place looks like it was completely refurbished , new everything and the internet was fast.I will be staying here again!

Unfortunately, this motel was not at all what we expected, and our experience did not match the positive reviews we had read. As soon as we entered the room, we were hit with an extremely strong bleach/chemical smell. The sheets were ripped and appeared dirty, and we even found dead ants between the sheets. The overall cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. We were also extremely uncomfortable with the environment around the property. The parking lot and surrounding rooms appeared to have a number of people openly using drugs, including in the parking lot. We did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. Ultimately, we decided not to stay the night and left. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend this motel and feel that the condition and environment did not reflect what was portrayed in the positive reviews.

For the price I paid, I can't complain too much. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated having an upstairs room. There were a few downsides, though. It appeared that some people associated with the property were living in vehicles on-site, which made the atmosphere feel a bit unusual. Maintenance was also working on a room until around 6:00 p.m., and the construction noise was noticeable. Another thing to keep in mind is that one side of the parking lot is next to a designated smoking area. On several occasions, I found people smoking right next to my car, which wasn't ideal. If these issues don't bother you, the motel may still be a good value for the price.
