Room was very nice. Cozy and private. The check in staff were very informative and helpful. The breakfast was hot with eggs, sausage, potatoes, paper thin bacon, and cereal/bread options. Overall much better than just a continental breakfast. The view was the best part of breakfast though. Beautiful little sunroom overlooking a garden and the ocean. The gardens are serious neglected but still charming. Overall great stay in a historic hotel.

The Property was clean and safe, had a great view of the ocean. Staff was also great. The property was a bit dated but is in great shape, it's been around for a while, and it's a go-to place to stay in Ventura!

Hotel is going through some renovations, but other than that I would highly recommend staying here! Literally only about 5-10 min walk to the Pier in such a beautiful area as well! Beds were super comfy!

We had a partial oceanview, the room was pretty clean, the bed was super comfortable. The youngman at the registration office was very personable and friendly, the woman who checked us in not so friendly. All the housekeeping and grounds staff were also very nice. It is an older hotel but we did enjoy it.
