"Stayed here for one night. At first glance, the property looked great — the rooms were clean, and the pool and gym were well maintained. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill due to a major issue.
There was a mechanical failure, and the hotel lost water supply starting around midnight. I was literally in the middle of a shower when the water suddenly stopped. Calling the front desk was frustrating — they kept apologizing but had no information on when the issue would be resolved. At that point, apologies weren’t helpful; access to basic water was.
The situation wasn’t isolated — the entire property was affected. Common restrooms were closed, toilets couldn’t be flushed, and cleanliness quickly became a serious concern. This went on through the night and into the morning.
We were forced to check out without even being able to shower, despite having a long day of travel ahead in 90-degree weather. This is simply unacceptable.
I also reached out to Expedia, but that was equally disappointing. They made no real effort to advocate for a refund and simply accepted the hotel’s refusal.
Water is not a luxury — it’s a basic necessity. Charging guests for a stay without such a fundamental amenity is unreasonable. The hotel’s lack of contingency planning and failure to properly handle the situation made an already bad experience worse."
