I recently stayed at The LINE Hotel Los Angeles in Room 532 on Friday May 1st, 2026 and wanted to formally express my severe disappointment with the condition of the room and the overall experience during my stay. The decor of the room was unacceptable for a hotel of this rating and the walls appeared unfinished with the lamp(s) tilted over.
Given the hotel’s reputation and 4-star rating, the experience unfortunately fell far below expectations. The bed and sheets felt noticeably cheap and uncomfortable, which significantly impacted the quality of the stay. In addition, the blinds control in the room was not functioning properly, and the bathroom lights were fluctuating/flickering continuously to the point that it became genuinely uncomfortable and concerning from a health and safety standpoint. The room was also dirty as there were uncleaned cob webs/spider webs in the room (Please see the video links enclosed).
What was most frustrating, however, was the complete lack of responsiveness from the front desk. I attempted to call multiple times throughout the stay — approximately five separate calls — and no one answered. This made it impossible to have the issues addressed in real time and left me feeling unsupported as a guest.
The overall experience became so unacceptable that we ultimately decided to check out early at approximately 8:20 PM rather than continue the stay.
Overall, this experience was not befitting of what is advertised as a 4-star hotel"
