"The property was beautiful and staff were wonderful. I loved the easy proximity to the Stowe path and it’s on one of the most scenic river sections. The room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. We stayed on the first floor and had access to outside which we loved as it accommodated our busy in and out schedule. The breakfast was fantastic and was a fabulous start to our day! I would have rated a 5 but there were two downfallls 1. The hot tub was milky so did not use but we honestly...

"This is a unique former farmhouse and Inn built around 1790. The staff was helpful and the place spotless. Note the part about it being from 1790s...the floor sloped, stairs and some walls were obviously well worn, and our room was smaller than you would get at a chain hotel. This added to the charm and made it so cool. We were hoping to see a ghost but nope...nothing but good vibes and hospitality. Breakfast was made to order and was excellent. The bedding was first class and everything...

The local Cabot Creamery yogurt and cheddar cheese are delicious. Our room was in the new section. We have stayed at many hotels over the years in Stowe and this is one of the newer and best options. My only complaint is that the chairs on our balcony and outside along the river were very dirty. I understand they are outdoors but it...

"Great room for a weekend trip to Stowe. Highlights were the outdoor pool, hammock, location and staff being friendly and accommodating when we informed them ahead of time that we would be arriving late! Would stay here again!"

"Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. "
