Sterling Ridge Resort

"We travel a quite a bit and always try to find unique lodging, so weve stayed in a few cabins over the years...this was by far our favorite. Each cabin felt private. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck in Adirondack chairs while it was raining (and even saw a couple deer pass thru). Made coffee in the morning then talking it down to walk around the pond at sunrise was majestic. It was cold and rainy, so we grabbed a couple games from the game room to play in the evening. Can't say we were good at Canadian Edition Trivial Pursuit, but we learned a few things. Barb was absolutely delightful at check-in and made us feel very welcome. We highly recommended Sterling Ridge."

"Entire staff was extremely helpful from check in to check out! Quick to bring extra towels and blankets. Bar and dining overlooking water was very entertaining and peaceful. Look forward to going back again!"

"Although dated, the room and bathroom was clean and well kept and the staff was pleasant. I wouldn’t say this a “lodge” but rather more like a motel. It would depend on your neighbors but for me, noise was easily heard out in the hallway, as the hallway’s floor was not solid. Through the night it was quiet. There was a washer and dryer in our section for use and a vending machine for snacks in that room. Breakfast was basic but filling with scrambled eggs, with or without sausage served in tin foil, toast, muffins, fruit, juices, and coffee. My husband enjoyed walking early in the morning from the lodge and found a covered bridge nearby."

"We checked at 3:40 after a 5 hour car ride. Mason was welcoming and gave us a nice orientation to the grounds (including equipment available to play basketball, pickle ball or tennis in the large area behind the inn). There are Arctic hot tubs, a community walking/bike path (bikes and helmets available), the pool was closed for the season. Our favorite feature was the delicious onion soup served in the lodge with cheese & crackers between 4-6! We also walked the grounds and enjoyed the sauna. Our room and bathroom was clean and spacious with HOT water. We would certainly would book a stay at the Innsbruck Inn again."

"We are a family of four with 2 teenagers who spent two nights in beautiful Stowe, very close to peak of the leaves turning. Our room at the Inn was on the recently modeled side of the property and was modern and tasteful, with a huge bathroom. The reception was warm and provided helpful information for the town, with chocolate chip cookies and tea/coffee complimentary. We spent time in the game room by the fireplace, with many books and board games to choose from. They offer snacks during breakfast time, but we didn’t take advantage. The property has a new bowling alley with bar and food menu, and there is a mini golf course in the front. The beer selection at bowling is great, and our girls liked the golf. A highlight, the view from the patio was picturesque, with a rock-lined creek and yellow-leaved trees. We would definitely stay here again if we visited in the future. The property is about 2 miles from the center of town."
