"Very sketchy neighbourhood. Did not feel safe walking the dog. Did not realize that the motel housed long time residents. Nice people but it was a bit disconcerting. Motel rooms were clean & staff pleasant."

"Staff were good, but best of all was this was a good place to crash after a long, late drive. There was nothing charming about the room. There was lots of plug-in phone/computer charging capacity, and cable tv worked. Breakfast was spartan, with simple options of muffins, toast, cereal and expected jams, peanut butter etc. If I had to arrive late and leave early this would be an ok choice."

"Our three-night stay at Canada’s Best Value Inn & Suites Vernon was unacceptable from beginning to end. When we arrived, the person checking us in immediately complained that we had booked through a third-party platform. He repeatedly emphasized that the hotel would receive only approximately $400 even though we had paid around $550 for the three nights. That was completely irrelevant to us as paying guests. If the hotel does not want customers booking through third-party websites, it should...

"Recommend staying in your car rather than in this place. It smelled terrible as soon as I stepped outside my car, the check in desk was gross and dirty, also they don’t let you check out before 9 and the worse part is that they charge you on top of the booking amount for damages and refund you less then the damage among charged. A really sketchy motel overall."

"My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay!! Bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable, we used the hot tub one night and was nice and relaxing…Yvonne was a great hostess and made us feel at home!! She made amazing breakfasts for the 2 mornings we stayed there!! I highly recommend."

"it was noisy throughout the night, your laundrytrollis are making one hell of a racket moving back and forth since before 6 :30 on a Sunday morning. I am aware that there is construction, however that shouldn't mean that the place looks as dirty as it was. Breakfast items were as expected, however there was no staff to clean tables, truly a very careless environment"

"Family 4 two queen beds, well sized room. The floor needs a good mop but overall it was fine. Can be a bit noisy by pool rooms if neighbors aren't respectful however we had no issues. White noise from ceiling fan or AC helps wash out the noise. Can't really bit the price and breakfast included was decent with a hot sausages, hasbrowns, boil eggs, eggos, cereal, toast and good muffin options."

"The building itself is quite old and very noisy- we could hear the people next to us having a conversation and the kids screaming/running down the hallway until 11:00pm. We ended up leaving at 11:00pm and driving 2 hours home just so that we could get some sleep. Overall, the price reflects what you get. The bathtub wouldn't dain after a shower either. It was clean for an older building though. I wouldn't stay or recommend."
