Was a beautiful country chateau with lovely grounds to walk and bike. Restaurant was exceptional, better than the Michelin named ones in the surrounding area. Very peaceful. Staff very friendly and helpful.
place in middle of Loire valley; rural area with bugs and greenheads but incredible views, history, architecture, chateaus and so on; all hotel stuff was extremely friendly and nice; very good breakfast; well renovated; we enjoyed every minute there, pool, hamam; didn't have time for spa though... we will come back for sure
This is an extraordinary castle. The rooms and facilities are gorgeous. However the way the hotel is run is not geared towards customers service.
For instance if it wasn’t for two people at the front desk we would of not had anything to eat during our stay.
There is only one restaurant with limited availability and no room service. Unfortunately we stayed on a Sunday and a Monday when most of the stores and restaurants are closed in the area. We hope to return and will certainly make reservations way in advance.
My daughter and I stayed for a few days as a home base while we checked out some chateaux in the area. The property was beautiful, our room was wonderful and the staff were fabulous. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel for anyone who wants to live a little luxuriously while on vacation. I am anxious to come back with my husband.

Bad service
The check-in process was quick and efficient, which created a positive first impression. However, several aspects of our stay fell short of expectations, particularly in relation to service and responsiveness.
Upon arrival in our room, we discovered that the television was not functioning. Attempts to contact reception were unsuccessful, as no one could be reached.
Breakfast service was especially disappointing. After waiting over 20 minutes without being attended to, we had to clear a table ourselves in order to be seated. Despite staff witnessing this, no assistance was offered. When we requested clean cutlery, it took more than 10 minutes, and we ultimately had to retrieve it ourselves from the kitchen. Additionally, a staff member accidentally broke a glass at the breakfast buffet and left large shards of glass on the counter near the coffee machine. Unfortunately, I sustained a minor scratch as a result, having not noticed the broken glass in time.
Poolside service was similarly lacking. On multiple occasions, I had to go up to the restaurant three or four times to reorder water or other beverages, as my orders were repeatedly not delivered. On one occasion, I waited over 20 minutes in the restaurant just to receive a bottle of water—an unpleasant experience, particularly in 26°C heat.
While the property itself is lovely, the level of service provided did not align with the price point of our stay. Significant improvements are needed to meet the standards expected fr
Tres belle expérience a 2.
Fantastique !
