"This was the best little gem and surprise of our trip! We ended up booking Camp Deforest on our honeymoon after another hotel experience had us searching last minute for an alternative. From warm home baked cookies upon arrival, many snacks and late day soup available.

"Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case.
We were downgraded to a standard room, as those were the only pet friendly...
