"This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. "The homeless people on the streets made us feel very uneasy. The restaurant looked like it's been closed for years. And at the base of the stairs to go up to our room, there was a cordoned off room that was shut down for asbestos. Our room wreaked of Febreeze, which was a little nauseating, but the bed sheets were very clean and comfortable and the room was actually quite spacious. "Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"Excellent two night stay on our bicycle tour. Staff were excellent. Rooms were fabulous. Breakfast was very good. Definitely would stay here again. Only comment I have is for all hotels....cycling touring is growing with the e-bike community. Secure bike storage should be available at all hotels. This hotel was very accommodating allowing us to take our bikes to our rooms but this was somewhat inconvenient for us as well as other guests using the elevator. "

"A lovely B&B close to everything in Sidney. A purpose built B&B, with very quiet and comfortable rooms. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room, as often guests are heading to the ferry or airport. Worked perfectly for us. Room was very comfortable with our own heat control, fireplace, jetted tub and shower, and comfortable bed and linens. Great safe parking in the back of the inn. Highly recommend. "
