Killed two roaches in the room, one of the “towels” had a lot of blood on it, door was very difficult to lock, TV with almost all streaming only was very difficult to use.

Front desk staff was awesome. However the rooms are very basic, with no blackout curtains and not the cleanest. Tub/shower handles were loose. Old urine and dust were at the base of the toilet. I cleaned it up myself. A train passing horn blowing at 6-7AM. Dog food kibbles found in corner. Room door had to be slammed shut to close. Overall outside upkeep is not a priority. Crosswalk light does not work crossing street to and from hotel to parking garage. No front desk night person, but a security guard instead. Lobby decorations were top-tier. Hotel room decor was very basic as stated.

Great staff!!!!! But we changes rooms 3–4 times Due to mold and my toddler found a medicin tablett on the floor. But the staff was great!!! The pool was nasty and the rooms was not good, breakfast should be included for that price.

The lobby was beautiful. The room was mid/ average but smelled like mold. The last straw was when we walked into the bathroom there were 2 dead bugs laying there one with antennas still twitching.

We checked in our room to a pair of shoes from the person before us still in the room. We booked the hotel as a stop on a long trip to let the kids swim and the pool was green and closed. Nothing advertised the pool was closed before booking. Otherwise, the hotel is decent and a nice remodel of an old building.

Despite having a confirmed reservation in writing ( thru Expedia), my reservation was canceled (after 9:00 pm on the night of my arrival). I had attempted to contact this hotel for several hours (between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm) and they NEVER answered their phone, nor could you leave a voicemail at any of their 4 recorded “answering” options. So, my family arrives in Vicksburg, MS around midnight with no place to stay. Not sure if this hotel or Expedia is at fault, but this is totally unacceptable!

The place was very clean but it is very old and no updates have been done in many, many years. WiFi did not work and there was no one for help after 10:30 pm. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate for our short night stay.

This is our second time to stay here. We cancelled once when air conditioning was out. This time there was no internet. The pool needs work. It could be a great stop with good management and TLC.

Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly.

There was a new manager because the old one left and she literally tried enabling my room key 5 times of which my room changes 2 times and I had to go up And down 4 times . I asked for a full refund and left the hotel after they were unable to confirm the room was cleaned before. Looks like the person that was trying to help just started a few hours ago. The security guard is also makeshift room service. It’s pathetic condition there,

Hotel is very crabby. Smelled. Took us 111 minutes to check into two rooms. Told us they probably could not get us dinner since they did not have much food left. Did not have ESPN. Could not get the WiFi to work so I called the front desk repeatedly ….no answer. Oh and the ice machine on my floor was briken

I was excited about staying here from the pictures on the app and from the look of the lobby. But looks can be deceiving. I noticed hardly anyone there, big red flag since it was holiday week. They put us in wrong room to begin with, but no problem since they were nice about it. Our room was small, dirty, and the TV did not work. A couple on our floor asked me about the pool, so I checked it out for myself. GROSS!! Bugs and trash all in it! I only saw one hotel person until checkout. My impression was that it is a hotel with potential, but needs some TLC and more staff to update it

Ugh. The hotel property is a disaster. The swimming pool looks pristine on the webpage, and there are zero comments about the pool being closed. In fact - on the main website they advertise the “ pool is now open.” What a disgusting bowl of swamp water for a pool. 3rd floor ice machine doesn’t work - nor does the drier. This room is absolutely not worth the price I paid. The carpet was wet in two places. This hotel looks and feels like it’s on the verge of closing. No blackout blinds - I would not stay here again.
