"The property itself was fine, although the label "luxury" is an overstatement merely referring to the hot tub. Given the listing's focus on the hot tub, an extra set of towels and bathmat in addition to what was designated for the shower would have been nice. The view of the citadel was lovely although completely blocked by a wall when in the hot tub. Further, a rug for the cold tile floor in the living room would have greatly increased comfort. "This was a Brand new quality hotel, inside and outside. To be honest I have some issues I can not rate above 5 stars. Excellent breakfast too. Just tell team which kind of coffee you want! I recommend it without any hesitation. And I also recommend visiting Gozo for 2 days with a rental car. Soundproofing wasn't the best either, needed a room change as was woken up at 7am but a constant banging for above our room. Staff was lovely. "We loved the hotel - it was a short walk from Valetta proper, and we loved being in a residential neighborhood instead of a touristy one. The room was spacious and inviting, and suited us well for a four-night stay. The staff was terrific. (One note to owner: PLEASE update the lighting in the bathroom!)"
