"Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. "Un havre de paix intimiste empreint d’un confort historique. Un charme d’un temps « d’époque » dans un état de parfait entretien où se mêlent des meubles anciens, dorures et tableaux sur fond de légère musique classique. Le tout dans un parc boisé, avec étang et canards, piscine et pelouses rases. Voilà un très bel hôtel pour qui serait en quête de calme et repos. "
