Lovely Carmen has poured her heart and soul into her business. From meeting us to help with parking to checking us in, she assisted with everything including arriving in the morning with her mother to prepare breakfast. Access to the train is literally steps away using an elevator to the platform. Not recommended for digital nomads as WIFI was intermittent in our room. Overall, I strongly recommend this B&B if you prefer to stay away from the chaos that is Positano and Amalfi. The perfect imperfection that is Italy awaits you here at AmbroSea!

Carmen was such a lovely host! I would stay here again for sure. The area is quieter and less touristy than other towns on the coast. The hotel is modern and clean with bright spacious rooms. There is a lovely breakfast and great coffee every morning. Thank you Carmen for a lovely stay!

Perfect location
This boutique hotel is hidden gem in the heart of the city. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious The host was warm and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here!

Carmen is an absolutely amazing host and a talented artist. The rooms and common areas are beautifully and meticulously decorated. The room windows and breakfast balcony have the most breathtaking view of the Vietri coast. The location, in the heart of Vietri, is ideally located near everything you'll want to see. Amazing stay!

Great property and host.
Carmen was super helpful. She gave us suggestions for restaurants and help with train and ferry schedules. Her property was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great.

The view from the room was beautiful. When we arrived at the train station in Salerno, we had no idea that there was a lift from the station down into town and the property. We dragged our luggage down to Ambrosea and was told that we were instructed about the lift via What's App - an app that I hadn't used for years. Only one key was given per guest which meant that we couldn't leave the property individually. All of the lights were on a timer controlled by the same card that was your key. There was no way to "turn" lights on or off as necessary. Incorrect information was given regarding ferries, etc.,. Overall, a very disappointing bed and breakfast.

Dear Guests, we did our best to make your rest at Ambrosea B&B special.Part of the services and info you required are not standard for a family-run B&B like ours... in particular: 1) trasportation and logistical problems you described are not connected to our accommodation offer, by the way we sent you basic info via WhatsApp; 2) if only you asked for a second keycard we would have provided an additional one with pleasure; 3) several deluxe and well reputed hotels in the world use keycards connected to the room's electric wiring in accordance to international security and "ecogreen" standards; 4) we are not responsible for the information provided about ferries, buses, etc... as the service providers may change it without notice (timetables were changed!).In conclusion, we apologise for any inconvenience and problems you faced. Next time we suggest to plan your journey in advance, in order to get all the required information you need. All the best and greetings from Carmen

I have been a little slow getting this review out, but if you are looking for a great place to stay while in Vietri Sul Mare, Ambrosea Amalfi Coast should definitely be a consideration.  Don’t let the exterior fool you, inside you will find a fully modern mini hotel consisting of three different room options–Selene, Aphrodite, and Iris.  We booked Iris as our homebase for a week of relaxing combined with day trips out of Vietri and couldn’t have been happier.  Carmen along with her mother were such wonderful and welcoming hosts.  They went above and beyond to make our stay a joy (not that we require a lot, we are’t hard to please).   The doors to the small balcony provided and fantastic view of the town and the sea from the top of Vietri.  The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable.  There is a also continental breakfast provided each morning, prepared by Carmen and her mother.  I will note that Carmen is a trained chef and offers cooking classes and gourmet dinners among other things.  We decided upon a dinner prepared by Carmen and were presented with a delicious tour of traditional Campania dishes accompanied by an excellent wine from the area. We were sad to have to return home, but we will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend trying out Ambrosea if you are in the area and want a great B&B. You won’t be disappointed.

It is in an old building but AmbroSea is beautifully furnished and very well located with magnificent views -everything about it was quality. Carmen was so helpful and provided every help and assistance plus lovely breakfast.

Carmen was a great host. She made sure all guests feel right at home. She is also a great cook, my husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast that consisted of fresh juice, pastries, amazing croissants. I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone.

110% nöjda, Tack!!!
Ett fantastiskt litet b&b med underbar utsikt över vietri sul Mare och havet. Ligger ett stenkast från buss och tågstation. Nyrenoverat överallt och fräscht. Frukost med färsk fruktsallad och nybakat varje dag var en riktig höjdare😃. Härliga människor (personal) som är lätta att ha och göra med. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.
