"Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. "Chris at the front desk & Kacey at the bar/food area were both very helpful and friendly. Did not get the room serviced on Saturday and we had to call for more towels, which were available. The TV remote needed fresh batteries."

"2 Nice gas fire pits with ample seating and chairs on porch. Clean and nostalgic but recently renovated bathrooms and rooms. A one minute walk and you are on the main strip of down town blowing rock, 4 - 5 min walk to Kilwins and center of Main Street."
